Preserving the Charm while making it new in Hamilton

Despite the difficult times, and thanks to resilience of our amazing clients and team, we have been busy. The early part of this year had us working mostly in Welland and St.Catharines but in the past few months we’ve had a surge in renovation projects in Hamilton.

Saying we have experience in Hamilton would be an understatement. If you combine all the renovations, electrical jobs and various odd and ends, we have done hundreds of projects in Hamilton over the past decade. As such we are very familiar with working on the older homes in the downtown area like the one we are showing you here. This home, located off of King Street, is a two-level single family home home that we were brought in to renovate as an investment property. Oddly enough this job came about right in the middle of renovating the property right next door.

As you will see in the pictures and video, when working on a house like this we strive to update and enhance what is already there. Houses like this have a certain aesthetic and charm that you don’t want to take away from so we focused on key areas and just made cosmetic repairs everywhere else. The downstairs kitchen was fully updated with new cabinets and a butcher block counter top that we feel was a great choice for a main floor kitchen since it helps brighten everything up along with the modern paint and fixtures. The upstairs bathroom also received a full update and makes for an incredibly functional home.

We proudly sign off another renovation and thank our team and our clients, not just for their business but for their business in a slow time for many and completely stopped time for others. We continue to work with pride in what we do and hope we make you proud to do what you do as well.
